Is Change Management a burning issue?
If your answer is yes, then you need to facilitate this experiential game as part of your client solutions!
Wallbreakers™ is a tool used to train implementation of organisational change. It is about transforming resistance towards change into understanding, acceptance and support.
Most large change processes involve frustration, resistance, and reduced productivity. This is a natural part of all change processes. Whether a change process is off to a successful start, implementation, and anchoring depends on how well managers deal with the human dimension of the change processes.
Wallbreakers is a captivating simulation of a change process, which offers managers a safe forum in which they can try out difficult leadership skills. Wallbreakers focuses on how to motivate employees to take part in the desired change, and how different phases of change processes require different forms of leadership.
Wallbreakers uses game dynamics and is built around a specific business case. Participants work in groups of three to six. Each group has to navigate a team of fictitious employees through a change process in three phases. The groups work on change intensity, prioritising of resources and handling various personality types and individual needs among employees.
The learning game Wallbreakers trains change management, and through a series of challenges improves managers’ leadership capabilities and awareness of human factors in change processes. Managers gain an understanding of the change process as a whole. Wallbreakers provides concrete tools to address the different stages of the process, to reduce resistance to change, to develop employee engagement, and to lower unwanted turnover of key employees. The
improved leadership abilities will result in better success rates for change initiatives in the organisation. Workz’ physical learning games actively engage the relevant participants in constructive conversations that create a common understanding and stimulate learning, reflection, and sharing of knowledge. Wallbreakers improves leaders’ capability to handle the potential pitfalls in change management.
